Edison Park Creative & Expressive Arts School (EPCEA) is recognized by the Florida Department of Education as an “A+ School”, Florida Golden School, Florida Arts Model School, and implements the PBIS Program.  Twenty fourth and fifth grade students were recognized by the Duke TIP program for performing in the highest academic levels in the country and several students were recognized for earning perfect scores on the Florida Standards Assessment.  These awards demonstrate a commitment to academic and artistic excellence for all students.

All students participate in a variety of arts classes including dance, visual arts, drama, strings, and music.  In addition, all students participate in physical education, guidance, and safety classes.  EPCEA has a Gifted Education program and ESE certified instructors.  Student performances are showcased monthly in the beautiful, historic auditorium located in the center of the school.

A fee based before and after school program is available on campus.  In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of free before and after school clubs including:  Chorus, Drum Group, Handbells, Boys ‘n Black, Dance Team, Pottery, Violin, Yearbook, Safety Patrols, Junior Cops, Sunshine State Book Club, Lee County Science & Inventor’s Fair, and Television News.  Select Edison Park students are inducted into the National Elementary Honor Society and Carson Scholars Program.

The mission of EPCEA is to celebrate diversity, encourage creativity, and nurture a love of learning in pursuit of excellence.  EPCEA is located in the South Zone and serves students in kindergarten through 5th grade.
